Okra Fry
Ingredients
- Fresh Tender Okra 500gms, cut into round slices (5 - 6 mm in size)
- 1 Medium Onion finely chopped
- HKC Curry Masala or HKC Magic Masala
- Salt
Preparation
1 Sauté Onions
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan, add finely chopped onions and sauté for 2 minutes.
2 Add Okra Wheels
and sauté for 5 more minutes by mixing the dish every 30 seconds.
3 Add Salt
and mix the okra well. Cook for 10 mins stirring it occasionally to make sure all okra slices are well cooked.
4 Optional for crunchy effect
add toasted peanuts and mix well.
5 Add HKC Masala
once okra is well fried, mix well and turn off the heat.
6 Serve Hot
consume this with rice or flatbreads.
